Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was FUN on the
23r , day of _ May_, 1977 . The following members were
present:

Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved
its tion:
RESOLUTION #77-250
DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST OF BLUE JAY RENTAL TO OPERATE RENTAL SERVICE
IN B-3 ZONING DISTRICT (A-614)
WHEREAS, Blue Jay Rental Enterprises, Inc. (Wm. Jasper) has petitioned for approval
of a conditional use permit to operate an equipment rental business at the northwest
corner of South Shore Drive and Highway 55;
AND, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said petition and has recommended
denial;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY1HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the petition of Blue ,lay Rental Enter-
prises (Wm. Jasper) to operate a rental business at the northwest corner of South Shore
Drive and Highway 55 based upon the following finding:
. The petitioned business activity is not specifically named as "Permitted" nor
"Uses by Conditional Use Permit" in Section 13 of the Zoning Ordinance, and
further, that the petitioned business use is not of the same general character
as those listed as "Permitted Uses" in said Section 13.
