Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a. meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, MEge-sots was eld on the
. 16th day of May , 19 77 . The following members were
present: Acting Mayor Hunt, ilmen Neils. Seibold and Spaeth .

Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-232
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1977 SEAL COAT WORK
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by the City Engineer for the
improvement of certain streets within the City by the construction of a bituminous
seal coat and said plans and specifications have been presented to the Council for
approval,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official
paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such improvement un er such approved plans and specifi-
cations. The advertisement shall be published two days, shall specify
the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened by the City
Engineer and City Manager at the Public Works ,Building, 14900 23rd
Avenue North at 10:00 a.m. on June 24, 1977 and will be considered by the Council
at 7:30 p.m. on June 27, 1977 in the Council Chambers of the City Public
Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North, and that no bids will be considered
unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit,
bid bund or certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent (5%)
of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fo1T w voted in tavor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils,

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass adopted.
