HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1977-2116 CITY OF PLYNDUfH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of April _, 1977 . The following members were present: Mayor Hilde Councilmen Hunt and Spaeth The following nowers were sent: Louncilmen Neils and Selbold introauced the following Resolution and moved its adoptIN11101110 RESOLUTION NO. 77-211 PERTAINING TO THE SPECIAL ELECTION RESULTS ON APRIL 19, 1977 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it is hereby found and determined that at the special election held in and for said City on April 19, 1977, to vote upon the question of issuing bonds in the amount of not to exceed $4,560,000 for the purpose of providing money to finance the development of parkland and related park and recreational facilities for the Central Park project in the City, there were cast a total of 3,832 votes, of this 1,160 were in favor thereof and 2 672 were against the same, and 9 were spoiTed—or defective ballots, and said—proposition is hereby declared defeated. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt and Spaeth. the xo.ltowing voted against or abstained. None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
