CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant -to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 28th day of
March , 19 77 . The following members were present:
Councilmen Hunt Neils and Spaeth
The fol owing members were absent: Mayor Hilde and Councilman Seibold
Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-159
ACCEPTING BID
1977 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of:
1. Project No. 520 - 12th Avenue from Harbor Lane to Juneau Lane by installation of
blacktop streets with concrete curb and gutter.
2. Project No. 523 - the property legally described as the North Half of the Southeast
Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, Section 13, Township 118,Range 22, except the North
400 feet thereof (Plat 43713 parcels 412,414 & 416) by the installation of bituminous
streets with concrete curb and gutter.
3. _Project No. 602 - 3rd Avenue and Queensland Lane by the installation of street
restoration.
4. Project No. 604 - the improvement of 14th Avnue from Vicksburc; Lane to Zanzibar Lane
anzibar Lane rom County, Road 6 to 13th Avenue and Archer Lane from County Road 6
to 13th Avenue and 13th Avenue from Zanzibar Lane to approximately 150 feet west of
Archer Lane and that portion of the south side of County Road 6 between Weston Lane
and 250 feet west of Archer Lane by the construction of bituminous streets.
5. Project No. 607 - the improvement of the streets in the Bass Lake area in the following
additions�5y installation of bituminous surface and curb and gutter.

9. Bass Lake Highlands
11. Asplund's Oakwood Shores

bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were
received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that N.D. H. Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota i> the lowest responsible
bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with N.D.H. Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota for the following improvements:
Project 520- 12th Avenue from Harbor Lane to Juneau Lane by installation of blacktop
streets with concrete curb and gutter.
Project 523 - the property legally described as the North Half of the Southeast
uarter o the Northwest Quarter, Section 13, Township 118, Range 22, except the
North 400 feet thereof (Plat 43713 parcels 412,414 & 416) by the installation of
bituminous streets vith concrete curb and gutter.
3. Project No. 502 - 3rd 'venue and Queensland Lane by the installation of street
restorat on.
4. Project No. 604 - the improvement of 14th Avenue from Vicksburg Lane to Zanzibar Lane
Zanzibar Lane from County Road 6 to 13th Avenue and Archer Lane from County Road 6
to 13th Avenue and 13th Avenue from Zanzibar Lane to approximately 150 feet west of

5. Project No. 607 - the improvement of the street in the Bass Lake area in the following
ad itions installation of bituminous surface and curb and gutter:

according to the plans and specifications therefor,approved by the City Council and
on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
The motionfor the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor -thereof: Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Spaeth
The following voted against o— r abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
