Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, 'Minnesota was held on the
21st day of March , 19 77. The following members were
present:

Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-152
AWARDING BID DUMP TRUCK
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for one 27,500 GVW 1977 cab and
chassis truck, bids were received on March 16, 1977, opened and tabulated and the
following bids were received:
BIDDER BID AMOUNT
Grossman Chevrolet $ 11,556.00
Superior Ford $ 11,967.00
Suburban Chevrolet $ 12,515.29
G.M.C. Truck $ 12,615.00
Iten Chevrolet $ 13,555.45
WHEREAS, it appears that Grossman Chevrolet of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to issue a purchase order
with Grossman Chevrolet of Minneapolis, Minnesota for one 27,500 GVW 1977 cab and
chassis truck in accordance with the specifications therefor in the low bid
amount of $11,556.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract
has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilyta�__N.ei1. and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
