HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1977-1519 CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Plymouth, 21st day of March , 19 77. present: My r HiIt Councilmen Hunt, The followine Members were s Cnu kk* a regular meeting of umesota was YET& on the The following members were RRk Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its tion: RESOLUTION NO. 77-151 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING FOR CIMARRON PONDS WHEREAS, a petition has been received by the Centurion Company requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Cimarron Ponds Development, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the Cimarron Ponds Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting filed with the Council on March 21, 1977 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3: The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether is should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
