Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
is adoption:
RESOLUTION #77-134
DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO EXCEED HEIGHT LIMITS IN R-1 ZONING DISTRICT FOR
60 FT. WIND GENERATOR FOR ROLF ERICKSON (A-701)
WHEREAS, Rolf Erickson has requested a conditional use permit to exceed height limita-
tions in an R-1 Zoning District for construction of a 60 ft. wind generator;
AND, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and made recommenda-
tions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
that it should and hereby does deny the request of Rolf Erickson for a conditional use
permit to exceed height limitations in an R-1 Zoning District for construction of a
60 ft. wind generator based on the following findings:
Exceeding the height limitations for a 60 ft. wind generator at the location
of Mr. Erickson's residence would be detrimental to the health, safety, morals,
comfort, convenience or welfare of the persons residing in the area adjacent to
such use.
Exceeding the height limitations for a 60 ft. wind generator at the location
of Mr. Erickson's residence would be injurious to the property or improvements in
the area adjacent to such use.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
foi�iwing votes In favor thereof: _-War Hild _-Councilman Hunt_ Neils
