Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a. regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, urcmesota was held on the
7th day of March , 19 77. The following members were
present: mayor Hilda. Councilmen Hunt. Neils. Seibold and Soaeth

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its tion:
RESOLUTION NO. 77 130
REQUESTING INSTALLATION OF SIGNALS
T.H. 55 AND NIAGARA LANE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota has adopted on
February 20, 1972 the Thoroughfare Guide Plan and
WHEREAS, Niagara Lane is shown as a Thoroughfare on this plan, and is also
on the Municipal State Aid System, and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that with the development of Downtown Plymouth including
the city hall site and the central park site, that increasing traffic demands will
be put on this intersection, and
WHEREAS, in order to meet these anticipated property development and corresponding
traffic volumes, traffic semaphores will be required,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: that the Highway Division of the Department of Transportation is requested
to review this intersection and place it on its priority list for traffic semaphores.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Seibold and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol owing votea in favor t ereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Hunt_ Neils,

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass and adopted.
