Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of. the City of Plymouth, Minnesota,, was held on the 'Ith day of
March , 19 77 . The following members were present:

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved

ASSESSMENT REDUCTION FOR r
PROPOSED CHIPPEWA TRAILS

WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has levied certain lateral sewer and water assessments on
the following undeveloped property:
Plat 43723 parcel 3000 (now parcels 3025 and 3050)
Plat 43723 parcel 6190
Plat 43723 parcel 5420 (originally parcels 7400 and 5400)
WHEREAS, t`:^se assessments were levied under levy numbers 5329 and 5331 and were deemed.
to benefit Subject properties,
WHEREAS, the City Council in a resolution adopted August 20, 1973, Resolution No. 73-343,
instituted a policy implementing new water and sanitary sewer area type assessments.
WHEREAS, this resolution also dealt with a policy concerning the granting of credits for I
previously installed water and/or sanitary sewer lateral service to undeveloped parcels,
WHEREAS, ih accordance with said Resolution No. 73-343, the City Engineer has made
his recommendation for sanitary sewer lateral and water main lateral assessment credit
in conjunction with the Council review of the proposed Chippewa Trails development(A-498)
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: that the delinquent payments on principal for levies 5329 and 5331 are.
hereby abated,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City notify the County of the abatement of the delinquent
principal payments for levies 5329 and 5331 and request that the County make any
adjustments necessary to the accrued penalty and interest due.to the removal of the
delinquent specials under levies 5329 and 5331,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the adjusted balance due and remaining under levies 5329
and 5331 for the following parcels as shown below be spread over the balance of the
assessment period -(14 years).
