Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-127
RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLINb HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT
23RD AVENUE NORTH UTILITIES
PROJECT NO. 702
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted November 8, 1976, a report
has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc, with reference
to the improvement of 23rd Avenue from 700 feet east of Niagara Lane to a point
approximately 1200 feet east thereof or to Fernbrook Lane by the installation of 9
ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, water main and all
necessary appurtenances and this report was received by the Council on March 7, 1977,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the
report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost
of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953, Chapter 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement
of $166,419.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on thel9th day of
April, 1977 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building,
14900 23rd Avenue North and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of
such hearing and improvement as required by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
