The following members were present: Jjavor Hi1de. Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: None Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 77-109 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 605-001 COUNTY ROAD 6 AND FERNDALE ROAD WATER MAIN WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on May 17, 1976 Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of the City of Plymouth's Water Distribution Trunk System by construction of a 12" water trunk main on County Road 6 from Ranier Lane to the reservoir site; and a 16" water trunk main on Ferndale Road south from County Road 6 approximately 1200 feet; and a 16" water trunk main on County Road 6 from the reservoir site to Ferndale Road, together with all necessary restoration and all necessary appurtenances and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are herby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened by the City Manager and City Engineer at 10:00 am CST on March 25, 1977 and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 p.m. on March iB , 1977. in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accom- panied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: 'Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and S aeth he following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
