Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption,
RESOLUTION NO. 77-107
PROJECT NO. 605 WATER RESERVOIR NO. 4
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the Water
Distribution Trunk System for the City of Plymouth, Minnesota by the construction
of Water Reservoir No. 4 on or near County Road 6 at the west end of the City
(Plat 43730 parcel 2029) bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law
and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement.

WHEREAS, it appears that Brown Minneapolis Tank Company of St. Paul, Minnesota is the
lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH MINNESOTA
I. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached con-
tract with Brown Minneapolis Tank Company of St. Paul, Minnesota in the name of the Cit
of Plymouth for the improvement of the Water Distribution Trunk System for the City of
Plymouth by the construction of Water Reservoir No. 4 on or near County Road 6 at the
west end of the City (plat 43730 parcel 2029), according to the plans and specification
therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
3. Notwithstanding the above award, construction on the reservoir site shall not commence
until May 1, 1977 or at such earlier date as the City may direct.
4. The contract award is in the low bid amount of $199,300 plus Alternate D
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Iguncilma I� ils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote in favor thereof: _Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt Neils
