HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1977-106CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 28th day of February , 1977 . The following members were i present: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt !Veils Seitold and Spaeth The fcllvwing n.emoers were absent: None itAA AAA AAA Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION #77-106 WHEREAS, by Council Resolution #76-292, the Planning Commission had been directed to review the landscape and exterior treatment plans for the standpipe water reservoir prior to construction of same and after a reasonable time period and effort on behalf of the City would be made to discuss the landscaping and exterior treatment of said reservoir with the surrounding property owners; AND, WHEREAS, a landscape and exterior treatment plan has been submitted by Edward S. Reid of Park Nursery which was reviewed with the City Staff and surrounding property owners to the site of said reservoir; AND, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said plans and has recommended their approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the landscape plan and exterior 10 paint treatment for Southwest Reservoir #4 as prepared by Edward S. Reid of Park Nursery subject to the following modification: Trees at the northeast corner of the site as per the landscape plan of Mr. Reid be removed from Mr. Mahowald's property and replaced onto the Ogden property. There shall be deletion of any trees on the Mahowald property as desired by Mr. Mahowald. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt Neils Seibold and Spaeth AJ= w-L-ing vorea against or abstal: Whereupon the Resolution was declared AAA AAA AAA
