Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth ,esota was a on the
28th day of February , 19 77. The following members were
present:—Mawr Hilde, Councilmen Hunt Neils Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were sent: None
Mayor Hilde introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-104
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH DISTRICT 284 YOUTH HOCKEY ASSN.
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request from the District 284 Youth
Hockey Associat'm for financial support from the City of Plymouth, and
WHEREAS, the Youth Hockey Association has and continues to provide recreational
services and programs for the youth in Plymouth, and
WHEREAS, the services provided by the Youth Hockey Association reduces the demands
upon the City staff for such programs as well as facilities for those programs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the City Manager prepare an appropriate agreement with the District
284 Youth Hockey Association with the purpose of providing recreational services
to the City of Plymouth and agreeing to payment of $2,000 per year for such services
for three years commencing in 1978 and subject to annual review by the City Council.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol ow -ng vo in avor ereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils,
Seibold and Spaeth
