Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, innesota was held on the
14th day of February , 1977 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hilde. Counc'lmen Hunt. Seibold and Spaeth

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and mored
is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77- 96
ORDERING PLANS & SPECS FOR BRIDGE ON FERNBROOK LANE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has as part of its State Aid Street System,
Fernbrook Lane from County Road 9 to T.H. 55, and
WHEREAS, this is an important route in the City's overall transportation system,
WHEREAS, the future upgrading of this roadway will necessitate the removal and
replacement of the existing bridge on Fernbrook Lane at the Plymouth Creek crossing,
Bridge No. L5800, and
WHEREAS, in the previous esolution No. 77-53 the City Engineer was authorized to
submit to the Department of Transportation an application for grant under Chapter
339, Laws of Minnesota 1976 for the Fernbrook Lane bridge in Plymouth, Minnesota,
Bridge No. L5800, and
WHEREAS, the upgrading of Fernbrook Lane including the replacement of the aforementioned
bridge is shown on the City's current five year C.I.P. to be done in 1978, and
WHEREAS, each state legislature has appropriated funds for replacement of deficient
bridges and said bridge L5800 is on the eligible list,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH.
MINNESOTA: that the City Enqineer and consulting engineer are authorized to proceed
with the planning, right-of-way acquisition and preparation of final plans and
specifications for the bridge on Fernbrook Lane over Plymouth Creek, Bridge L5800
in order to secure funds from the Department of Transportation bridge replacement
program.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
