Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a. special meeting if
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
14th day of February , 19 77 . The following members were
Present; Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt. Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were absent: rniinrilman Nails
Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 77-83
APPROVING CENTRAL PARK FINANCING AND
AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR CENTRAL PARK
WHEREAS, the City Manager in his report dated February 14, 1977 did outline
the estimated costs associated with the acquisition and construction of
Central Park as well as the sources of funds to meet such costs, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the City Manager's report and
concurs in the estimates contained therein, and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the public interest will be served
by the acquisition of the lands comprising Central Park;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the financial planning estimates as contained in
the City Manager's report dated February 14, 1977 are hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be authorized and directed
to proceed with the acquisition of the land required for Central Park in
accordance with all applicable laws for such acquisition.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol owing voted in favor t ereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt,
Seibold and Spaeth

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
