The following members were present: The following members were sent: None _ ### ### ### Councilman S ibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its a ption: RESOLUTION NO. 77- 77 AWARDING BIDS 1/2 TON PICKUP TRUCK WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for a 1/2 ton pickup truck, bids were received on January 24, 1977 at 10:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement for bids: BIDDER BID PRICE Superior Ford, Inc. $5,139.00 Iten Chevrolet, Inc. $5,332.00 Suburban Chevrolet, Inc. $5,416.21 WHEREAS, the bid submitted by Superior Ford, Inc. does not meet specifications, WHEREAS, it appears that Iten Chevrolet, Inc. of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Manager and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a purchase agreement with Iten Chevrolet, Inc. of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota for the purchase of one 1/2 ton pickup truck in the low bid amount of $5,332.00. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders, the deposits made with their bids except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a purchase order has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Co c'1 an N ils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the fol owing vo 9 avorthereof: MaYor Hilae, Councilmen Hunt.
