CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City

RESOLUTION NO. 77-72
ASSESSMENT REDUCTION FOR
PROPOSED CHIPPEWA TRAILS
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth had levied certain lateral sewer and water assessments
on the following undeveloped property:
Plat 43723 parcel 3000 (now parcels 3025*end 3050)
Plat 43723 parcel 6190
Plat 43723 parcel 5420 (originally parcels 7400 and 5400)
WHEREAS, these assessments were levied under levy numbers 5329 and 5331 and were
deemed to benefit subject properties,
WHEREAS, the City Council in a resolution adopted August 20, 1973, Resolution No. 73-343,
instituted a policy implementing new water and sanitary sewer area type assessments, and
WHEREAS, this resolution also dealt with a policy concering the granting of credits for
previously installed water and/or sanitary sewer lateral service to undeveloped parcels
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution No. 73-343. the City Engineer has made his
recommendation for sanitary sewer lateral and water main lateral assessment credit in
conjunction with the Council review of the proposed Chippewa Trails development (A-498),
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the sanitary sewer lateral and water main lateral assessments previously
levied under levies 5329 and 5331 on the following properties: Plat 43723 parcel 3000
(now parcels 3025 and 3050); Plat 43723 parcel 6190 and Plat 43723 parcel 5420 (originally
parcels 7400 and 5400) are hereby reduced in accordance with the attached Exhibit A,
engineering memo #76-559, revision February 4, 1977, with the following total reductions
being:
Parcel 3000 $ 15,942.45
Parcel 6190 $ 9,388.74
Parcel 5420 $ 1,218.00
TOTAL T 26,549.19
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the property owners shall not have to pay any accrued
interest or penalties resulting from the non-payment of said special assessments,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City shall notify the County of such reduction
in assessments.
