Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved

RESOLUTION #77- 63
AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH GRANT APPLICATION TO HENNEPIN COUNTY
FOR INCLUSION IN THE URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNIi*f DEVELOPMENT t�OCK GRANT APPLICATION,
IN ACCORD WITH THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has executed a joint powers agreement with Hennepin
County thereby agreeing to participate in a Grant Application under the Urban County
designation provided for in the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974;
AND, WHEREAS, a grant application has been prepared requesting funds to undertake
a community development program, including appropriate citizen participation, goal
establishment and implementation plans and procedures;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does adopt the proposed Community Development Plan
and Program and Housing Assistance Plan contained in the attached application for
Federal assistance and authorizes submission of said application to Hennepin County
as the Urban County Community Development Block Grant applicant.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
