Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 31st day of
January , 19 77 . The following members were present:

Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved

RESOLUTION NO. 77-60
ACCEPTING RIDS FOR PROJECT NO. 506 T.H. 101/C.R. 6
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of T.N. 101
between T.H. 12 and approximately 1000 feet north of County Road 6 as well as the
intersection of County Road 6 and T.H. 101 by the installation of sanitary sewer,
water main, storm sewer, 9 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and autter,
sidewalks and traffic signal installation and all necessary appurtenances, bids
were received, opened and tabulated on January 20, 1977 according to law and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, that pursuant to law, the City of Plymouth and C-partment of Transportation
have entered into an Agency agreement thereby authorizing the Commissioner to accept
and receive all Federal funds made available and to let construction contracts
pursuant to law, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 161.38 Subdivision 4, the letting of a public contract
by the Commissioner for the work shall be deemed to comply with statutory provisions
relating to Chapter 429., and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder is C.S. McCrossan, int. of
Osseo, Minnesota
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. That pursuant to said Agency Agreement, the City Council recommends to the
Commissioner that the lowest bid. submitted by a responsible bidder, that of
C.S. McCrossan, Inc of Osseo, Minnesota be accepted for said project.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to trar3mit to the Commissioner all bids
received.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execi.+.e and forward to the Commissioner
the City Clerk's Certificate attesting to the City.Council's recommendation to the
Commissioner.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
