The following members were present: A5tipa Mayor Hu Id and Spaeth The fol ]owing members were a sent: Mavor Hilde Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76- 750 APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS PROJECT N0. 506 T.H. 101/.GQ4.;.Q,1D 6 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on December 1, 1975 the City Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. together with the Minnesota Highway Department and Hennepin County Public Works Department have prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of T.H. 101 between T.H. 12 and approximately 1000 feet north of County Road 6 as well as the intersection of County Road 6 and T.H. 101 by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, 9 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks and traffic signal installation and all necessary appurtenances and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof., are hereby approved. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. on January 20, 1977 by Loretta Garrity City Clerk of Plymouth'at Plymouth, Minnesota on behalf of the Commissioner of Transportation as agent for the City for the construction of the City projects listed below. proposals will be opened and 'read publicly by the Commissioner of Transportation or his representative at the Plymouth City Council Chambers of the Plymouth Public Works Garage, 14900 23rd Avenue North in Plymouth, Minnesota immediately after the hour set for receiving bids, that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid.
