Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was e d on the
13th day of December 19 76 . The following members were
present: Mayor Hilde Councilmen Hunt Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The following members were absent: None
Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 76-729
AGREEMENT WITH METROPOLITAN ANIMAL PATROL SERVICES, INC.
WHEREAS, the Police Chief and City Manager have recommended that the City
enter into an agreement with the Metropolitan Animal Patrol Services, Inc.
(MAPSI) for 1977 by the terms of which MAPSI will act to enforce the City's
dog ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendations and finds that
the public health, safety and welfare will be enhanced by the execution of
this agreement:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the City
Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Metropolitan
Animal Patrol Services, Inc. for animal patrol services for one year com-
mencing January 1, 1977.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt.
