Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was beld on t 13th day of

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 76- 719
AWARDING BID FOR MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION
OF FIRE STATION NUMBER TWO
WHEREAS, pursuant
to an advertisement
for bids for
the mechanical construction
of Fire Station Number

and;
WHEREAS, the Fire Station Building Zommittee has recommended deducting Alternates
Number M-4, M-5 and M-6; and
WHEREAS, it appears that after considering the alternate deductions, J. MdClure
Kelley Co. is the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into contract with J. McClure Kelly Co. for the improvements
outlined heretofore according to the plans and specifications
therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office
of the City Clerk in the amount of $48,875.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall
be retained until a contract has been signed.

The motion for

and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following
