® Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was on the 13th day of

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moivea
its adoption:

AWARDING BID FOR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION
OF FIRE STATION NUMBER TWO

WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the general construction
of Fire Station Number Two, bids were received, opened and tabulated according
to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, the Fire Station Building Committee has
recommended
accepting
Alternate Number G-4; and
WHEREAS, it appears that
after considering the alternate
deduction,
W.
H. Cates Construction Company
is the lowest
responsible
bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED
BY THE CITY
COUNCIL
OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:

1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
enter into contract with W. H. Cates Construction Co. for
the improvements outlined heretofore according to the plans
and specifications therefor approved by the City Council
and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount
of $216.459.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids
except that the desposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has
been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by, and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
