Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the
13th day of December , 19 76. The following members were
present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The following members ►•sere absent: None
Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 76-717
AWARD OF BID
USED WATER TRUCK
WHEREAS, an advertisement of bids was made and bids were recelVed on December 1,
1976 for one used water truck and the following bids were received:
Bidder Bid Price
B.A. Begin & Sons $7,500.00
WHEREAS, it appears that B.A. Begin and Sons of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the
lowest responsible bidder,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to prepare a purchase
order with B.A. Begin and Sons of Minneapolis, Minnesota for the purchase of
one used water truck in accordance with the specifications therefore and on
file with the City Clerk.
2. The Clerk is hereby authorized to retain the low bidders bid bond until a
contract has been signed.
3. Payment for the water truck shall not be made until January, 1977 from the
1977 budget Account 602-531-921.
The motion for the adoption of the foreg,ing Resolution was duly seconded
by CocncilmanSp��th , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in fa��or thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils,
Seibold and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
