HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-714• W W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 13th day of _December , 19 76 . The following members were present: oiiowing members were absent: Uau- Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-714 ADOPTING ASSESSMENT LOTS 29 & 38 AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION NO. 333 (43740-7600) WHEREAS, the owner of Plat 43740 Parcel 7600 has waived his right to assessment hearings on Lots 29 & 38, of Auditor's Subdivision 333 for sewer and water lateral benefits and trunk benefits installed under the East Medicine Lake Sewer and Water Project, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. 2. 3. Such proposed assessment a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof is hereby accepted and shalIa)nstitute the special assessment against the lands named therein and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of 22 years, the first of the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday. in January, 1978 and shall bear interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the i date of adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment when due shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this resolution ! until December 1977. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest j for one year on all unpaid installments. fl The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assessment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment to the City Finance Director, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 1 days from the adoption of this resolution and he may at any time thereafter, pay to the County Finance Director the entire amount of the assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued until December 31 of the year in which such payment is made. 4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as o`her municipal, taxes. 5.
