Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a, special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, esota was a on the

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION #76-708
DENYING VARIANCE FROM ZONING ORDINANCE FOR ROLF ERICKSON (A-701).
WHEREAS, Rolf Erickson has requested a variance from Section 17, Subdivision.4,
Paragraph C. referring to height variances allowed by conditional use permit,
specifically to allow a 60 ft. wind generator to be erected at his residence, 14520-
12th Avenue North;
AND, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and made recommendations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does deny the request Rolf Erickson for a variance
from Section 17, Subdivision 4, Paragraph C referring to height variances allowed by
conditional use permit, specifically to allow a 60 ft. wind generator to be erected at
. his residence, 14520 -12th Avenue North based upon the following findings:
No hardship to the owner would result because of the particular physical surroundings,
shape, or topographical conditions of the specific parcel of land involved if the
variance is not granted.
The conditions upon which the petition for variance are based are not unique to the
parcel of land for which the variance is sought and are applicable to other property
within the same zoning classification.
No difficulty or hardship is caused by the Ordinance and has been presented by persons
have interest in the property only.
The granting of the variance would be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious
to other land or improvements in the neighborr,00d in which the parcel of land is
located.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor ereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils,

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
