HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-703CITY OF Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the 11th day of December , 19 76. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: None. Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-703 APPROVING ADOPTION OF CIVIC CENTER CONCEPT PLAN.FOR DOWNTOWN PLYMOUTH (A-94) WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the alternative Concept Plans as presented by the architects for the project, Thorsen & Thorshov Associates, Inc. and dated December 1, 1976, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends adoption of Concept Plan A for said structure; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve and adopt Concept Plan D as presented by the architects, Thorsen & Thorshov Associates, Inc. for the City Civic Center to be located in Downtown Plymouth, including the parking adjacent to the City Hall, but not the balance of the linear parking shown adjacent to Niagara Lane. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt. Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: No=.e Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
