C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2020-216
R ESOLUTION A UTHORIZING CONTRACT WITH MICROSOFT FOR OFFICE 365
WHEREAS, the City has been required to quickly adapt to remote work and access for
employees; and
WHEREAS, Microsoft Office 365 provides tools necessary to securely facilitate remote work; and
WHEREAS, Microsoft Office 365 facilitates the collaboration necessary to provide the high
quality customer service expected by Plymouth residents and businesses; and
WHEREAS, funding for COVID-19 related tools is available through the CARES Act.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the contract agreement is approved and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized
to execute said agreement.
