HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2020-207 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2020-207 R ESOLUTION A PPROVING C HANGE O RDER AND F INAL P AYMENT FOR C ITY H ALL L OWER L EVEL R EMODEL P ROJECT (FM-20-0006) WHEREAS, on October 22, 2019, Council authorized the advertisement of bids for the construction phase of the City Hall remodel project that included Community Development, Engineering, and lunchroom areas. BKV Architects provided design plans, coordinated bid process, and provided administrative oversight; and WHEREAS, on December 3, 2019, bids were received for the construction phase of the project; and WHEREAS, on December 10, 2019, Council awarded the construction project to Dering Pierson Group, LLC. with a bid of $480,810; and WHEREAS, the project was authorized at $1,300,000 utilizing the Facilities Fund. The construction phase of the project was awarded to Dering Pierson Group, LLC with a bid of $480,810. With change order and final payment ($25,189.83), Dering Pierson Group, LLC’s cumulative payment totals $503,796.63; and WHEREAS, additional project costs are inclusive of consultant fees and miscellaneous site amenities. The overall project cost is $1,262,188.05 which is $37,811.95 under budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that change order and final payment of $25,189.83 is to Dering Pierson Group, LLC is approved. APPROVED by the City Council on this 28th day of July, 2020.
