HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-683• CITY OF PLY140UTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of .the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the 15th day of November , 19 76. The following members were present: mayor Hilde,_CouncilmenRunt,-leils, Seibold and Spaeth The following members were absent: None Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-683 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT SCHMIDT LAKE WEST ADDITION BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the Schmidt Lake West Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street.lighting, filed with the Council on November 15, 1976, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all .onvenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Hunt, Neil-, SPihnld and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: —Mayor Hilae not racant fnr vnte. (.hereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
