Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, V:nnesota was held on the the
15thday of November , 19 76. The following members were
present: Mayor Hilde,- Councilmen Hunt.Neils. Seibold and S aeth
The following members were absent:_ one
Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION #76-670
APPROVING SITE PLAN FOR VOLP CONSTRUCTION AT NE CORNER OF FERNBROOK LANE AND 21ST
AVENUE NORTH (A-699)
WHEREAS, Volp Construction has requested site plan approval for a structure of 59,800
sq. ft. for manufacture of fiberglass automobile bodies to be located at the northeast
corner of Fernbrook Lane and 21st Avenue North;
AND, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommended approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve the request of Volp Construction for
site plan approval for a structure of 59,800 sq. ft. for manufacture of fiberglass
automobile bodies to be located at the northeast corner of FernbrooK Lane and 21st
Avenue North subject to the following conditions:
1. Compliance with provisions of the City Engineer's Memorandum of October 27, 1976.
2. All waste, waste containers and product shall be stored within the structure.
3. Park Dedication, cash fees -in -lieu, of $1,870 shall be paid to the City
prior to building permit issuance.
4. All site improvements shall be guaranteed by a 150% bond of a two year term to
be submitted to the City prior to building permit issuance.
5. Areas reserved for future structure or parking shall be seeded or sodded.
6. The proposed structure identification sign shall be limited to $6 sq. ft. in area.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils.
Seibold and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
