HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-6590 • CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on tie 8th day of November , 1976 . The following members were present: Magor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth ng members were absent: None Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved is adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-659 BASS LAKE OUTLET WHEREAS, the existing outlet to Bass Lake located on the east side of the lake was removed to facilitate the construction of the Bass Lake sanitary sewer trunk system, WHEREAS, it is desirous to provide adequate outlet for future storm sewer runoff and at the same time provide a barrier against carp migration into Bass Lake and WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources had indicated their agreement to such plan and have indicated their desire to enter into a cooperative agreement with the City of Plymouth for financing said outlet and WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources has indicated they would provide funding for one half the cost of the new outlet to a maximum of $10,000.00, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that a change order is to be executed between the City of Plymouth and Nodland Construction Company, contractor for Project No. 607, Bass Lake Sewer and Water Improvements for the construction of an outlet on the east side of Bass Lake in the vicinity of the existing outlet as detailed on the plan designed by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. dated .august 11, 1976, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City's porton of the financing will come from fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor t ere of: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt_, Neils, Seibold and Spae The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly pass -e -2 --and adopteT—
