HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-619• CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the 18th day of October , 19,x. The following members were present: Actinq Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Seibold and Spaeth The folio,. -ting members were absei.t: Mayor Hilde and Councilman Neils Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76- 619 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF RePORT. MISSION HILLS PARK SECOND ADDITION BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the Mission Hills Park Second Addition by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the Council on October 18, 1976, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of the property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seihold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt- Councilmen Seibold 5aaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
