HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-615• CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the 18th day of October , 1976 . The following members were present: Acting Mayor Hunt Councilmen Seibold and Spaeth The follo::ing members were absent: Mayor Hilde and Councilman Neils Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-615 AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH I.S.D. NO. 284 FOR THE CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEIT LAND FROM THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH TO I.S.D. NO. 284 FOR THE SUNSET HILLS PTA WILDLIFE NATURE CENTER WHEREAS, the Minnesota Commissioner of Revenue has authorized the conveyance of Tax -Forfeit Plat 43734, Parcel 4591 from the State of Minnesota to the City of Plymouth; and WHEREAS, City Council Resolution No. 75-379 authorized the conveyance of this parcel to I.S.D. No. 284 for use by the Sunset Hill PTA for purposes of establishing a Wildlife Nature Center; and WHEREAS, the City Attorney has drafted a deed for this agreement, retaining a perpetual easement for storm drainage and ponding purposes for the City of Plymouth: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into agreement with I.S.D. No. 284, for the purposes of conveyance of this parcel, for the use by Swtset Hills PTA as a Wildlife Nature Center. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by �piinr�lna_n S�pth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the follo::�ng voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt. Councilmen Seibold and Spaeth - The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
