Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the
18th day of October , 19_Z�L. The following members were
present: Councilman Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth
.The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde and Councilman Neils
Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved
its z option:
RESOLUTION NO. 76-614
REQUESTING THE COUNTY BOARD TO CANCELA.
TAX FORFEITURE CONCERNING PURCHASE CERTIFICATE
NO. 76543 TO LOT 1, BLOCK 4, ELMHURST LAKEVIEW ADDITION
WHEREAS, Lot 1; Block 4, Elmhurst Lakeview has previously been certified as
tax -forfeited lands; and
WHEREAS, Park Metropolitan Investment Fund, Inc., a Minnesota Corporation, entered.
into an agreement with the Hennepin County Auditor to purchase said lot. (A copy
of said agreement is attached hereto as Exhibit A); and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has purchased the interest of Park Metropolitan
Investment Fund in said lot; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth does not intend to make any of the payments called for
10 by said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Requests that the Hennepin County Board cancel said agreement rendering said Lot 1,
Block 4, once again tax -forfeited lands.
2. Directs the City Manager to send a letter to the County Board transmitting this
resolution and setting forth the relevant facts concerning this matter.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
