HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-582W W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 5th day of October , 19 76 . The following members were present: ng members were *t* Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved s adoption: RESOLUTION #76- 582 APPROVING SITE PLAN FOR INDUSTRIAL WAREHOUSE BUILDINGS FOR JOHNSON/YNGVE AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF NATHAN LANE AND 10TH AVENUE NORTH (A-682) WHEREAS, Johnson/Yngve have requested site plan approval for two industrial warehouse buildings to be located at the southwest corner of Nathan Lane and 10th Avenue North; AND, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request and recommends approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve the request of Johnson/Yngve for site plan approval of two industrial buildings to be located at the southwest corner of Nathan Lane and 10th Avenue North subject to the following conditions: 1. No outdoor storage of waste, materials or garbage. 2. Posting of a 150, 18 -month landscape and drainage bond prior to issuan::e of building permits. 3. Petitioner pay a Park Dedication Fee of $91,880 hased on $500/acre X 19.76 acres, payable to the City prior to building permit issuance. 4. Engineering recommendations of the City Eiigineet be incorporated as per Staff memorandum of September 14, 1976. 5. Recommendations of the DNR and Bassett Creek Flood Control Commission be a part of this recommendation. 6. Provision for three fire hydrants and fire lanes as per Staff recommendations. 7. An area be reserved for parking 349 additional cars on the site to be paved at the time of need. 8. Additional right-of-way along Nathan Lane, i.e. 32.5 ft. Developer to petition the City for public improvements along Nathan Lane. 9. More detailed landscaping plan be submitted to the Director of Planning and Community Development prior to building permit issuance. 1W W Resolution #76- 582 Page 2 10. No sign variances be permitted. 11. Additional right-of-way along 10th Avenue North, i.e. 40 ft. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hildeouncilmen Hunt. Npjlq, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
