Saihold and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilman -Neils Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-547 HIRING ARCHITECT FOR DESIGN OF CITY HALL/CIVIC CENTER FACILITY AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT AND ALLOCATION OF FUNDS BY CITY WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has solicited proposals from various architectural firms for professional services in the design of the city hall/civic center facility for the City; and WHEREAS, the selection committee has reviewed the proposals submitted and recommended three firms to the Council for review; and WHEREAS, the City Council has interviewed the three firms for this under- taking. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the firm of Thorson, Thorshov Associates, Inc. be, and the same is, hereby selected to undertake said services subject to the ability of the parties to agree upon project scope and responsible contract terms. FURTHER, that the City staff be, and the same is, hereby directed to prepare a contract between the City and the firm of Thorson, Thorshov Associates, Inc. for City Council approval and specific funds appropriation.
