HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-516LJ CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 13th day of September , 1976 . The following members were present: ng memoers were aosent: t** ,rir* Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved is adoption: - RESOLUTION NO. 76-516 ACCEPTING BIDS SANITARY SEWER TELEVISING WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of previously ordered sanitary sewer projects 1. Project No. 607 Bass Lake Area 2. Project No. 604 14th Avenue and Zanzibar Lane 3. Project No.6602 3rd and Queensland Lane 4. Project No. 609 Reinhard Industrial Park by televising said sewer lines to assure that there are no crushed or cracked pipes, faulty joints, bad leaks, etc., bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER TOTAL BID Solidification, Inc. $ 7,504.00 American Consulting Services $ 7,705.00 Erwin Montgomery Constr. $ 8,669.50 Visu Sewer Clean & Seal, Inc. $10,814.20 Penetryn Systems, Inc. $11,466.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Solidification, Inc., of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Solidification, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota for the televising of the sanitary sewer lines installed under: Project No. 607 Bass Lake Area Project No. 607 14th and Zanzibar. Project No. 602 3rd and Queensland Lane Project No. 609 Reinhard Industrial Park according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. Resolution No. 76-516 Page 2 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and Spaeth And the following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
