HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-476CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of �� , 19.76 The following members were present: Maar Hilde, Councilmen Wit, Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilman Seibold Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved tsi— adop on: - RESOLUTION NO. 76- 476 SETTING DATE FOR A HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 505 SCHMIDT LAKE IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS,by a resolution passed by the Council on August 16, 1976 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving 1) a portion of the North Central Sanitary Sewer Interceptor between the following points: 15A to 15, 15 to 16, 16 to 16C, 16C to 16A, 16A to 16B, (from a point on 36th Avenue North approximately 600 feet west of Zachary Lane; thence in a northwesterly direction to the approximate intersection of Larch Lane and County Road 9; thence northerly along Larch Lane to 45th Avenue) as shown on the Report on -the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth,- Minnesota, 1972 and subsequent Report Supplement on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota, 1973, Alternate B. Water main on Larch Lane from County Road 9 to 45th Avenue; Sanitary sewer lateral, water main lateral, 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter on 45th Avenue from Larch Lane easterly and northerly to the terminus in the cul-de-sac in the plat of Shorewood Acres Addition, necessary storm drainage facilities and all necessary appurtenances, together with sewer and water trunk facilities, and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assesmsent has been completed ' and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 27th day or September, 1976 in the City Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue.North at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause *a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and the Clerk shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. Resolution No. 76-476 Page 2 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by �n��nr , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted inm favor thereof: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt__ Neils and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: yNone Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
