HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-4750 a CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _ special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of August , 19 76 . The following members were present: Mayor HildeCnunrilrtwn Hunt moils and Spaeth The following member's were absent: Councilman Seibold ,max* +tir* introduced the following Resolution and moved its a option: RESOLUTION NO. 76-475 SETTING HEARING FOR PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 502 MAPLEDELL AREA WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 16,_1976 the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for the improvement of the extension of a portion of the South District Sanitary Sewer Interceptc- from the intersection of 27th Avenue and Dunkirk Lane then easterly approximately 1400 feet; then northerly 1700 feet to point 51A (Mapledell Trunk) as shown on the Report of the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota datei1972 and on Comstock Lane, 29th Avenue, Black Oaks Lane and 30th Avenue all within the Mapledell First Addition by the construction of sanitary sewer, water main, drainage structures and 7 ton bituminous streets and all necessary appurtenances including previously constructed trunk water facilities, and the improvements to the proposed Maple Creek Addition (legally described as the East 99 rods of the North 80 rods of the Southeast, Quarter,of Section 20, Township 118, Range 22 and the East 99 rods of the South 80 rods of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 118, Range 22) by t'e installation of sanitar sewer, water main, drainage structures and street grading and all necessary appurtenances including previously constructed trunk water facilities, WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. - NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 27th day of September, 1976 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon the proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard thereon with reference to such assessment. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following of voted in favor there: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: lone Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
