HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-472CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of August , 19 76 . The fallowing members were present: Mayor Hi e, ounce men Hund; -Neils and Spaeth The following mem ers were absent:Councilman Seibold lk ** DX n ilman_Neil§ introduced the following Resolution and move is adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 76-472 SETTING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 415 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 16, 1976, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving 21st Avenue from Lancaster Lane to Kilmer Lane and Kilmer Lane from 21st Avenue to 19th Avenue by the installation of water main, street restoration and all necessary appurtenances, and previously installed trunk water main facilities, WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 27th day of September, 1976 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessor nt and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity -to be heard thereon with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improve - ment. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
