HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-471CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 23rd day of August , 1976 . The following members were present: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt Neils and Spaeth The following members were absent: Councilman Seihold irt,t t,t* Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-471 SETTING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 306 XENIUM LANE SOUTH OF THE RAILROAD TRACKS WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 16, 1976, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for the cost of improving Xenium Lane from the Minnesota Industrial Railroad to a point approximately 1600 feet south by the construction of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer and 9 ton bituminous stree*s and all necessary appurtenances including previously constructed sanitary. sewer and water main trunk facilities, and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA 1. A hearirg shall be held -on the 27th day of September, 1976,in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon the proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hun , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: ''Mavnr HildP_ Cnunrilman Hunt_ Ncilc The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ,t,tw int*
