Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a,effiul1r— meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of
August 19 76. The following members were present:
Maor Hi de, Councilmen Hurtand Neils
The fol owing members were absent: Councilmen Seibold and Spaeth
Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 76-460
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 521 OLIVE LANE UTILITIES
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for -the improvement of Olive Lane between County
Road 6 and 19th Avenue North by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main and
bituminous streets and all necessary appurtenances including previously installed
trunk water main facilities and the contract price for such tnprovement is $59,600.00
and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improveme tt amount
to $ 11,012.00 so that the total cost the improvement will be $70,912.00
and of this cost the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share of the cost,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
. MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specialty assessed is hereby declared to be
$70,612.00.
2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping
and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the
existing land use zoning:
WATER AREA CHARGE
Residential $250/per z acre or dwelling unit; $500.00/acre
Commercial -Industrial $750/acre
3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable
lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash
valuation as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed
assessment in her office for public inspection.
4. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council
thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution.was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt and Neils
The following voted against or abstained: None
!thereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
