The following members were present: he o owing members were absent: Councilmen Seibold and Spaeth *a * **** Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved C is a option: RESOLUTION N0. 76- 459 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 514 GREENTREE WEST ADDITION WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of the streets in the Greentree West Addition including the following: 30th Avenue between Brockton Lane and Xanthus Lane; 27th Avenue between Brockton Lane and Zircon Lane; Alvarado Lane between 30th Avenue and Brockton Lane; Xanthus Lane between Zircon Lane and County Road 24; Zircon Lane south of 27th Avenue to the south line of the Greentree West Addition and the following cul-de-sacs: ` Alvarado Lane north to 30th Avenue; Alvarado Lane south to 27th Avenue; 26th Avenue west to Zircon Lane; 27th Avenue southeast to Xanthus Lane; 28th Avenue southeast of Xanthus Lane, and also Brockton Lane between County Road 24 and approximately 1400 feet south of County Road 24, a portion lying o6tside of the plat, by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, streets including concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all i necessary appurtenances together with trunk facilities previously installed, and the contract price for such improvement is $632,000.00 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $135,584 .00 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $7611;5R4 00 and the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,.MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $767,584 .00. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning: WATER AREA Residential $250/per = acre or dwelling unit Commercial -Industrial $750/per acre 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer,shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation as provided bylaw, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment,notify the Council thereof. 0 a Resolution No. 76-459 Page 2 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt and Neils_ The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
