Pursuant to du -i call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of tha City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of
August 1976 . The following members were present:

DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 502 MAPLEDELL ADDITION
PROJECT NO. 517 MAPLE CREEK ADDITION
introduced the following Resolution and moved
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of the extension of a portion of
the South District Sanitary Sewer Interceptor from the intersection of 27th Avenue
and Dunkirk Lane then easterly approximately 1400 feet, then northerly 1700 feet to
point 51A (Mapledell Trunk) as shown on the Report of the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for
Plymouth, Minnesota dated 1972 and on Comstock Lane, 29th Avenue, Black Oaks Lane and
30th Avenue all within the Mapledell First Addition by the construction of sanitary sewer,
water main, drainage structures and 7 ton bituminous streets and all necessary appurtenances
including previously constructed trunk water facilities, and the improvements to the
proposed Maple Creek Addition (legally described as the East 99 rods of the North 80 rods
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 118, Range 22 and the East 99 rods of
the South 80 Rods of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, Township 118, Range 22) by the
installation of sanitary sewer,water main, drainage structures and street grading and
all necessary appurtenances including previously constructed trunk water facilities and
the contract price for such improvement is $440,255.00 and the expenses incurred or to
be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $81,718.00 so that the total.
cost of the improvement will be $521,973.00 and of this cost the City will pay $0.00
as its share of the cost,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The co t of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be
$521,93.00.
2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping
and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing
land use zoning.
WATER AREA CHARGE
Residential $250/per , acre or dwelling unit; $500.00/acre
Commercial -Industrial $750/acre
3. The City Clerk,with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the
proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against ever assessable lot,,
piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation,
as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed asssessment in
the office of the City Clerk for public inspection.
4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council
thereof.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mavor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt and Neils
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
