HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-456W W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a r®gular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of August , 19 76. The following members were present: _ Mayor HildCouncilmen Hunt and Neils The following memb. ers were absent: Councilmen Seibold and Spaeth Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76- 456 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT IMPERIAL HILLS SIXTH ADDITION PROJECT NO. 417 WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of 24th Avenue North and T.H. 101 in Imperial Hills 6th Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, 7 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances, including previously constructed trunk water main facilities, and the contract price for such improvement is $ 52,900.00 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $10,790.00 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $63,690.00 and of this cost the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $63,690.00 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning: WATER AREA CHARGE Residential $250/per 3� acre or dwelling unit; $500.00/acre Commercial -Industrial $750/acre 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt and Neils The following voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed"an
