The following members were present: _�3�nr H;1 de _ .o m i l n Hunt and N i l c The"following members were absent: rnnnrilmen Seihnld and Snaeth Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved is adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-455 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT CARLSON C014PANIES ADDDITION PROJECT NO. 416 WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of Xenium Lane from approximately 1300 feet south of the Chicago -Northwestern 'Railroad Tracks to the new alignment of County Road 15 as shown on the plat of Carlson Companies Addition; on 13th Avenue North between Xenium Lane and Peripheral Road; on Berkshire Lane between the new alignment of County Road 15 and 13th Avenue, all shown on the plat of Carlson Companies Addition by the install- ation of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, 9 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances including the water line on 13th Avenue between Berkshire Lane and Peripheral Road and trunk facilities, and the contract price fur such improvement is $650,975 .00 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $ 97,771.00 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 748,746.00 and of this cost the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ 74B,746.00. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for sanitary sewer trunk force main, lift station and interceptor facilties and water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning: SEWER AREA CHARGE Residential $250/per k acre or dwelling unit; $500/acre Commercial -Industrial $750/acre WATER AREA CHARGE Residential $250/per 2 acre or dwelling unit; $500/acre Commercial -Industrial $750/acre Resolution No. Page 2 0 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by riunc`-wn Neils and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted inravor t ereMayor Hilde Councilmen Hunt and Neils The following voted against orabstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
