HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-4450 a CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of August , 19 76. The following members were present: Ma or Hilde Councilmen Hunt and Neils The fo owing members were absent: Councilmen Seibold and Spaeth CFuncilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved tT s adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76-445 ORDERING PRELIMINARY REPORT FOR SANITARY SEWER AND WATER MAIN TRUNK FACILITIES - DOWNTOWN PLYMOUTH AREA Wd EREAS, it is proposed to extend a portion of the Northwest Sanitary Sewer Interceptor between the following points: 37 to 38, 38 to 39, 39 to Vicksburg Lane, 38B to 38A, 38A to 38, 39 to County Road 9, (generally covering the area between Fernbrook Lane on the east, Virksburg Lane on the west, County Road 9 on the north and T.H. 55 on the south providing trunk sewer and water service the South Half of the North Half of Section 16, the South Half of Section 16, and the portion of the North Half of Section 21 lying north of T.H. 55 and north of the Cavanaugh and Fox Meadow Additions) as shown on the report on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota dated 1972 and subsequent Report Supplement on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota dated 1973, Alternate B, WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct water main trunk facilities onVicksburg Lane from T.H. 55 to County Road 9 (from approximately 1300 south of point 40 northerly to point 44; between point 4Q southerly to T.H. 55; and on County Road 9 between Vicksburg and Niagara Lane (point 4P to point 4Q) as shown on the Repert on Water Distribution for Plymouth, Minnesota dated 1972 and any subsequent revisions the -eta, together with all necessary appurtenances, and WHEREAS, it is proposed to assess the benefitting properties for all or a portion of the costs of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutues, Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as.ar.ended) i NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvement be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.' The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt and Neils The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
