HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1976-438-• CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the the 16th day of August , 1976 . The following members were present: Maver Hilda, Counrilmgn Hunt and Neils The following members were absent: Councilmen Seibold and Spaeth fr+ Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 76- 438 APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH SHENANDOAH HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION AUTHORIZING CITY TO ENTER UPON STREETS OF SHENANDOAH 2ND ADDITION TO COMPLETE IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City Council, on August 2, 1976, entered into an agreement with the Shenandoah Development Corporation, quality Homes, Inc., and First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Minneapolis by the terms of which the City will complete certain improvements in the Shenandoah 2nd Addition, and WHEREAS, the Shenandoah Homeowners Association has agreed to permit the City to undertake the work on private property owned and controlled by the Association. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the agreement drafted by the City Attorney and approved by the Shenandoah Homeowners Association, permitting the City to enter upon the streets of the Shenandoah 2nd Addition, be and the same is hereby approved. and FURTHER that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute such agreement on behalf of the City. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neild and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ma.vor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt and Neils The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
